Jennifer Thai, PT, DPT, OCS

Doctor of Physical Therapy ยท Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I earned my undergraduate degree from UCLA and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Over the past decade, I've practiced across outpatient orthopedic clinics and telehealth, eventually stepping into a Clinic Director role focused on staff development, workflow design, and patient experience before moving into independent practice.

My patients range from desk-bound office workers and weekend warriors to Kโ€“12 students, total joint replacement candidates, and professional esports athletes. Outside of clinic, I'm chasing a toddler around the house, sneaking in retro game sessions when I can, and generally trying to practice what I preach about movement and recovery.

I work in a hybrid model โ€” mobile in-person visits when hands-on assessment or manual therapy is needed, and telehealth when convenience, geography, or schedule make in-person impractical. Both formats get the same level of attention; the modality should fit your life, not the other way around.

Treatment plans are evidence-informed and individualized. I lean on validated outcome measures, current research, and clinical reasoning โ€” not cookie-cutter protocols. Ongoing communication between visits is part of the package: questions, flare-ups, and progress updates don't have to wait for the next appointment.

About these tools

The tools on this site โ€” outcome measure libraries, a photo-based goniometer, post-op recovery timelines, and non-operative care protocols โ€” were built to bridge the gaps that virtual care exposes. Standardized outcome measures keep documentation consistent across visits. Photo-based goniometry lets a clinician measure joint angles from patient-submitted images without specialty equipment. Timelines and conservative-care protocols give patients evidence-based frameworks for what to expect at each stage and when to call for help.

Every tool is a single-file, offline-friendly HTML page. Nothing is uploaded; no patient data leaves the device. Built collaboratively with Claude Code, expanding as new clinical needs come up.
